As is customary with all things “tech” – newer, faster, more shiny things are constantly being developed in a bid to make everyone’s life that little bit better. Well, the time has come for our web server platform to be upgraded. We’re moving all of our web clients from EasyApache 3 to EasyApache 4…
… SO, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR OUR CUSTOMERS?
In short, it will add lots of bells and whistles behind the scenes, but basically, the newer versions of EasyApache are both faster and more secure, so our web customers (and their customers) will end up with a better end-user experience.
WHAT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING?
Even though nothing is physically changing (we’re not unplugging anything) our servers will undergo a series of restarts while the updates take place, but we’re working with our clients to make sure minimal disruption is caused to them and their customers.
