Bassed in Little Hulton (near Manchester). They strive to accomplish this by offering the highest quality of innovative, enjoyable martial arts and fitness instruction in a fun, clean, safe and positive environment
The MMA Academy website has been designed to promote their services to potential clients and to provide information to existing customers.
The MMA Academy wanted to make sure that potential clients could find all of the information they need via their website, such as session timetables and prices. When it came to creating the navigation and structure for the website we decided to develop a menu that easily guides the user to their desired service or information source.
The main objectives of the site are to provide potential clients with information regarding the different type of classes that are available, the benefits of taking the classes and how to get in touch with the MMA Academy.
During our conceptual meetings with MMA Academy, we spoke about the different options available for the design and “feel” of the website. During these meetings it became apparent that the website needed to fulfil two different roles. The website needed to have a strong first impression to get the attention of the younger male users, but at the same time look friendly enough for parents to want to take their children there.
We included a short video on the Website’s homepage to show potential clients what’s on offer the MMA Academy. The video was created combining footage shot by Mako and existing footage from MMA Academy.

The website is built around a content management system, this means that the client can easily update the website themselves. Since the client can update their own website this saves them money, as they dont have to pay a web-developer each time that want to apply an update on the website.
